Great People of Chamonix

Chamonix is famous and well known for it’s natural beauty and extreme sports. It is a well visited tourist destination for many reasons. In the winter alpine enthusiasts flock to to the steep mountains for their adrenalin rush of racing down some of the worlds best ski slopes and untracked powder. That is not to mention the great apres ski vibe and nightlife also. One can participate in a myriad of activities in the winter, ranging from skiing and boarding to cross country skiing, paraponting, snowshoeing, ice climbing, sleding, skating and hockey to name a few. Not only is the town and its mountains famous but so are some of its people.
